- Condition – used / carried / sharpened
- Blade – carbon steel, 7 1/4″ in length, original owner’s name is etched on the blade – PATRICK J. COLBERT and His service # 1804363, there’s light pitting thru the etching and on the blade edge straight down from the etching, all can be seen in the pictures
- Hilt – double brass, measures 3 1/4″ in width
- Handle – is made from green Tenite, there’s NO shrinkage or cracks
- Sheath – Johnson roughback, splitback and canteen snap with a brown button on the stone pocket, looks to me like the sheath was dyed black, stitching and snaps function perfectly
- Stone – well worn combination crystolon
- History – I purchased the knife from the Brother in law of the deceased. I did some GOOGLE searching and there’s plenty of info out there on Patrick, it appears he served in Vietnam and was in the Marine Corps from 1960-1964.
