SOLD – I have for sale a Randall Model # 2 that has seen no use and put away for quite some time. The condition of the knife and sheath is excellent. The carbon steel blade measures 6″ and retains the original Randall grind and finish. There are some extremely faint sheath insertion scratches and a couple extremely faint carbon spots which should be expected from a knife that’s 60+ years old. The blade is stamped with the small Randall logo stamp which is further down on the ricasso and just into the blade flats which is why it’s lighter on the lower left hand side. The knife is fitted with an optional nickel silver hilt which is highlighted by five thick spacers. The stacked leather handle is commando shaped and flawless. There’s three thick spacers at the butt end and a duralumin butt cap with acorn nut to finish off the handle. The sheath was made by Heiser and the condition is excellent. The snaps look new, the stitching is perfect the leather is still “tan” looking and the rear is stamped with the Heiser logo and 2-6. The sheath houses an unused Norton “box” combination stone.
If Your looking for a great example of an early 50’s Randall Model # 2 with condition, it doesn’t get any better. Thanks for viewing, Steve Zimmerman.
