Randall Knife Model # 14, Tenite handle and Heiser canteen snap sheath

Category:

I have for sale a fantastic looking Randall Model # 14 that was made in the mid to late 50’s and kept in original condition. The carbon steel blade measures 7 5/16″ in length and is stamped on the ricasso – RANDALL MADE SOLINGEN – GERMANY. The blade has very faint sheath insertion scratches which is quite typical and very faint carbon spots which can be seen in the pictures. The original owner’s name is also factory etched on the blade – RICHARD PAUWELS. The handle is fitted with a large double brass hilt which has some extremely small scratches in the finish. The handle is made from tenite which was used from 1954 -1965. The tenite is in excellent condition with minor/faint handling scratches. The tang of the knife is exposed and drilled for a wrist thong.  The leather wrist thong is original and still has the original nickel silver slider attached. The canteen snap sheath is in mint condition and just about impossible to upgrade. The stitching is tight, the brown button snap works perfectly and the keeper is without cuts. The rear of the sheath shows that it’s a splitback and it’s stamped with the Heiser logo and 14 7 1/2″. The sheath houses an unused combination crystolon stone which is printed in blue ink. If You’re looking to fill a void in Your early Randall fighting knife collection this is the knife. It has age, condition and rarity. Thanks for viewing, Steve Zimmerman.
